Elevance Health Posts 12 Jobs Based at Its Atlanta Office This Week, With Some Applications Closing by Nov. 9

Hiring

Health insurer Elevance Health posted 12 jobs this week that name its office at 740 West Peachtree Street NW in Atlanta as the primary work location. Several of them have short application windows. One nurse case manager posting is set to close Saturday, Nov. 7, and a product-owner posting closes Monday, Nov. 9.

The 12 postings carry start dates from Monday, Nov. 2, through Thursday, Nov. 5. They were among 90 results for “Atlanta” on Elevance’s Workday careers site when it was checked at 17:49 UTC on Friday, Nov. 6. Most of the other results were jobs based in other cities that list Atlanta as one of several possible locations, and those are not counted here. Each of the 12 is an advertised opening, not a hire. None lists a pay range.

Each posting shows an “anticipated end date,” the date Elevance expects to stop taking applications. Across the 12, those dates run from Nov. 7 to Nov. 30.

Nursing, pharmacy and behavioral-health roles

Clinical jobs make up the largest group. A Nurse Case Manager II posting (JR211671, dated Nov. 5, closing Nov. 11) lists its location as Georgia. It works Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with one 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. shift each week. The job is fully virtual apart from required in-person training. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and at least five years of clinical experience, or an equivalent combination. A second Nurse Case Manager II posting (JR210616, dated Nov. 4) has the same degree and experience requirements, calls for an unrestricted RN license in the applicant’s home state, and has an anticipated end date of Nov. 7. A telephonic nurse case manager posting (JR210266) closes Nov. 19.

A bilingual Pharmacy Technician II posting (JR210738, dated Nov. 4, closing Nov. 18) is fully virtual except for training. It requires Spanish or other multi-language skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of pharmacy experience, and state or national pharmacy technician certification as required by state law.

A Special Programs Case Manager I posting for a licensed behavioral-health clinician (JR200255, dated Nov. 4, closing Nov. 16) says applicants must live in Georgia. The job is hybrid, with one to two office days a week. It requires a master’s degree in social work, counseling or a related behavioral-health field, or a nursing degree, plus at least three years of clinical experience. A physician job, Medical Director for physical medicine and rehabilitation (JR209080, closing Nov. 20), reviews cases in a Medicaid context and requires an MD or DO with board certification.

Office, technology and underwriting jobs

One posting is fully on-site. The Facilities Associate II job (JR210100, dated Nov. 4, closing Nov. 11) requires reporting full-time to what Elevance calls its Pulse Point location in Atlanta. It asks for a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of related experience, a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Knowledge of OSHA standards is preferred.

The rest are professional roles with different in-office expectations. An AI Solutions Engineer Lead Senior (JR211739, closing Nov. 16) and a Director of Strategic Initiatives (JR208342, closing Nov. 18) are in the office three days a week. The AI role requires a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or a related field and at least nine years of experience. A senior group underwriter (JR211737, closing Nov. 30) comes in one day a week and needs four years of related experience. An Agile senior product owner (JR206811, closing Nov. 9) works one to two office days and needs five years of experience writing business requirements. A staff vice president for process reengineering (JR198853, closing Nov. 11) can be based in Atlanta or one of five other Elevance offices.

Elevance’s postings say candidates who are not within reasonable commuting distance of the posting location will not be considered for its hybrid and virtual roles. The anticipated end dates are Elevance’s own estimates, and postings can close earlier or stay open longer.
