Scope

This policy covers the jobgetr.ai website and the labor-market data, research, news and analysis features published on it, including Ask jobgetr.ai.

jobgetr.ai is a labor-market intelligence service for a general professional audience. It is not directed to children, and it is not a consumer credit, background-screening or employment-decision service.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

The public site does not ask you to create an account, and we do not operate newsletter signup or file uploads on it. What you give us, you give us deliberately: by emailing us, or by sending an inquiry through the forms on our Contact and Advertise With Us pages.

Those forms collect your name, email address and the category and text of your inquiry. Depending on the form and on what you choose to fill in, they may also collect your company or organization, your job title, your company website, a region or market, an indicative advertising budget band, campaign timing, and - if you are reporting a correction - the address of the page concerned.

Form submissions are delivered to us by email. They are not written to a database on this website, and sending one does not create an account, a subscription or a marketing list. To limit automated abuse the form keeps a short-lived counter tied to an irreversible fingerprint derived from your network address, in the same way the Ask feature does, and your message itself never carries that address.

Ask jobgetr.ai

When you ask a question, your question text is sent to jobgetr.ai and answered by our own software from published labor-market data. Questions are not sent to an outside AI or model provider, and the application does not write your questions to a database or associate them with you.

To limit automated abuse, the service keeps a short-lived counter tied to an irreversible fingerprint derived from your network address. The fingerprint is a one-way hash, it expires within minutes, and the application does not store the underlying address. Ask responses are served with no-store caching directives so they are not retained by shared caches.

Approximate market information

Some pages adapt to whether you appear to be in the Atlanta metro area or elsewhere in the United States. That determination uses coarse network-level signals that a content delivery network can attach to a request - country, region, postal code, city and metro code. We do not request or use your device's GPS or browser location permission, we do not purchase location data, and we do not build a location history.

The signal is reduced immediately to a single market word - Atlanta, national, or unknown - and that word is what the site uses and what your browser remembers. When those network signals are not available, the site treats the market as unknown and shows national content.

Information collected automatically

Like virtually all websites, jobgetr.ai runs on web servers that record ordinary request information in log files. These records typically include the network (IP) address the request came from, the date and time, the page or file requested, the HTTP response status, the size of the response, the referring page where one is sent, and the browser user-agent string.

Search and filter features on the Markets, Roles, Industries and Occupations pages pass their terms in the page address, so those terms can appear in these ordinary server records as part of the requested page.

We use this technical information to operate and secure the service. We do not use it to build advertising or behavioral profiles.

Cookies and Local Storage

jobgetr.ai's own features do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and a visit to the public site does not currently require you to accept cookies. The underlying WordPress software and its components may set cookies where a feature genuinely needs them - for example if you log in to an administrative account, or if account functionality is activated in future.

The site does store two small values in your browser's local storage. Neither is an identifier and neither leaves your browser:

• a preference for how Ask jobgetr.ai answers are displayed, so your choice of reading mode persists between visits;
• the market word described above, cached briefly so the site does not have to re-check it on every page.

You can clear both at any time through your browser's settings for site data. The site works normally without them.

Do Not Track

Because we do not track visitors across other websites, we do not currently respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals.

How We Use Information

We use the limited information described above to:

• deliver the pages, data and answers you request;
• keep the service available, secure and free of automated abuse;
• diagnose errors and understand how the service is performing;
• decide whether to show national or Atlanta metro figures;
• respond to your inquiries and provide support;
• evaluate advertising, sponsorship and partnership requests;
• handle corrections, data and privacy questions;
• maintain the business correspondence that follows from those exchanges; and
• meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not use your information to make decisions about you as a job applicant, and jobgetr.ai does not evaluate individuals.

How We Disclose Information

We do not currently sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may disclose information in these ordinary circumstances:

• Service providers. Companies that run infrastructure on our behalf necessarily process information in the course of doing so, as described below.
• Legal and safety. Where we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or is necessary to investigate abuse or protect the rights and safety of jobgetr.ai, our users or the public.
• Business transfers. If jobgetr.ai is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Service Providers and Infrastructure

jobgetr.ai depends on ordinary internet infrastructure to operate: web hosting, network and content delivery services, and email delivery. An inquiry you submit passes through our hosting and email providers in the course of reaching us, and the resulting message is held in our email system. These providers process information only as needed to provide their service to us. Using them is not a sale of personal information.

jobgetr.ai's labor-market figures are retrieved by our servers from our own data service. Those requests identify the metric, geography and time period being loaded. They do not carry your identity, your question text or your browsing history.

Advertising and Analytics

We do not currently run third-party behavioral analytics on the public site, and we do not currently serve third-party advertising or advertising trackers on it.

jobgetr.ai expects to offer advertising and sponsorship in future, and may adopt measurement tools to understand how the service is used. If we do, we will update this policy to describe what is collected, and provide any choices the law requires, before or as that practice begins.

Data Retention

We keep information only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, and as long as reasonably necessary for security, operations, troubleshooting and legal requirements.

In practice this means the short-lived rate-limit counters used by Ask and by the inquiry forms expire on their own within minutes; the browser preferences described above remain in your browser until you clear them; inquiries and other email you send us are retained in our email system as business correspondence for as long as they remain useful for that purpose; and server log records are kept by our hosting environment on its ordinary schedule for operational and security purposes.

Data Security

The site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. We limit what we collect in the first place, which is the most reliable protection available: the fewer records that exist about you, the less there is to expose. Where the service needs a visitor identifier at all, it uses an irreversible hash rather than the underlying address.

No website or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.

Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You can browse jobgetr.ai without giving us your name, email address or any account information; the inquiry forms are the only place we ask for them, and only when you choose to write to us. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to anything. You can clear the site's stored browser preferences at any time, and your browser settings control cookies generally.

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights over personal information about you - for example to know what is held, to obtain a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. We do not currently sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is presently nothing to opt out of.

You can make a privacy request by emailing info@jobgetr.ai. Please tell us what you are asking for. We will respond as applicable law requires, and we will not discriminate against you for making a request. Because we deliberately keep very little information and do not maintain visitor profiles, we may have no records that correspond to you; where that is the case we will tell you so.

Children's Privacy

jobgetr.ai is intended for a professional, adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not verify the age of visitors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@jobgetr.ai and we will take appropriate steps.

Third-Party Links

jobgetr.ai links to outside sources, including government statistical agencies whose data we publish. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.

Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy as jobgetr.ai develops, and the "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Where a change materially affects how we handle information about you, we will make that clear on this page. Continuing to use jobgetr.ai after an update means the revised policy applies.
