Chick-fil-A Posts a $21.25-an-Hour Cartersville Warehouse Job and Two Atlanta Support Center Roles

Hiring

Chick-fil-A’s distribution arm is advertising a Warehouse Associate job at its Cartersville distribution center at a posted $21.25 an hour on a four-day, 10-hour schedule. The posting went up Tuesday, Nov. 3, and is one of three new Georgia openings the Atlanta-based chain listed between Monday, Nov. 2, and Friday, Nov. 6. The other two are a Spanish-English bilingual customer support agent and a senior marketing content lead, both at the company’s support center on Buffington Road in Atlanta.

When the company’s public careers site was checked at 17:43 UTC on Friday, it listed 78 external postings for Chick-fil-A, Inc. and its supply subsidiaries. Twenty-six were in Georgia. Only these three were dated Nov. 2 through Nov. 6. Each is an opening the company is advertising, not a count of hires. The listings cover corporate and supply-chain jobs; restaurant jobs are not among them.

Cartersville warehouse: $21.25 an hour, four 10-hour days

The Warehouse Associate posting (requisition 19987) is for Chick-fil-A Supply LLC, the wholly owned subsidiary that delivers food and products to restaurants. The posting describes the work as unloading, staging, picking and loading product at the Chick-fil-A Supply Cartersville Distribution Center. It gives the location as 726 Cassville White Road NW, Cartersville, GA 30121; the listing’s address field shows 731 Cassville White Road.

The schedule is a four-day workweek of 10-hour days, assigned between 4 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, “until the work is done.” Weekend and holiday flexibility is required. Pay is listed as $21.25 per hour.

The work is physical. The posting says associates rotate through temperatures from minus 10 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit to keep food safe. For most of a shift they reach, bend and stoop while lifting cases of up to 65 pounds, and they occasionally use mechanical help to move up to 2,000 pounds. They also operate forklifts and pallet jacks. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED and enough English to follow safety instructions, complete documentation and read company policies and tests. No prior experience is required, though warehouse or material-handling work is preferred and food-distribution experience is “a plus.”

The posting lists free meals, snacks and drinks during the workday. It also lists up to three weeks of paid time off accrued in the first year, with 40 hours available on hire, seven holidays plus a floating holiday, four weeks of new-parent bonding leave, a 401(k) with a 5% match for eligible employees, a no-premium health insurance option and an education benefit with a $45,000 lifetime maximum. The company values those benefits at “$22,000+” a year beyond pay.

Bilingual support agent at the Atlanta support center

Posted Wednesday, Nov. 4, the Bilingual Customer Support Agent role (requisition 19488) handles customer questions by phone and online, opening and documenting cases in a support-management system. It requires fluency in Spanish and English, typing of at least 45 words per minute, availability for eight weeks of training on a fixed schedule and flexibility to work between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. Eastern. The required education is an associate degree; zero years of experience are required, and help-desk, call-center, hospitality or Chick-fil-A restaurant experience is preferred. No pay is listed.

Like other support center staff, the agent works under the company’s “Flexible Futures Model,” which the posting describes as currently requiring at least eight to 10 days a month in person.

Senior content lead

The third posting, dated Thursday, Nov. 5, is a full-time Sr. Platform Lead, Omnichannel Content (requisition 21749). The role plans content and campaigns across Chick-fil-A’s owned marketing channels, sets performance measures, runs testing and owns website and search-engine strategy, including responses to AI-driven search trends. It requires four years of experience, with 10 preferred, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. No pay is listed and relocation assistance is not provided.

Applications for all three go through the company’s careers site.
