Six Flags Over Georgia is recruiting seasonal workers for Holiday in the Park, which its event page says runs on select dates from Nov. 21 through Jan. 3 at the Austell park. Five seasonal openings were listed for the park on Six Flags' careers site at about 13:25 UTC on Wednesday, Nov.
Greif said its Sweetwater paperboard mill in Austell is expected to stop operating by the end of 2026, affecting about 90 workers. A Georgia WARN notice lists 95 affected employees, with separations running into March 2027.
