UPS said October 7 it is hiring 100,000 seasonal employees nationwide for peak season, below the more than 125,000 it sought in 2024, after cutting about 48,000 operational positions in 2025.
The Georgia Ports Authority says port activity supports nearly 278,000 full- and part-time jobs in an 11-county Atlanta region, including more than 100,000 in Fulton County, the largest of its 12 regional figures.
