Georgia’s visitor economy supported an estimated 473,837 direct, indirect and induced jobs in 2025, according to a Tourism Economics study commissioned by the Georgia Department of Economic Development.
The Georgia Ports Authority says port activity supports nearly 278,000 full- and part-time jobs in an 11-county Atlanta region, including more than 100,000 in Fulton County, the largest of its 12 regional figures.
