Invesco Opens Atlanta Summer 2027 Internship Postings at $35 to $37 an Hour, With a 3.2 GPA Minimum

Skills & Careers

Global investment manager Invesco posted four Atlanta-based summer 2027 internships on its careers site between Sunday, Nov. 1, and Tuesday, Nov. 3. Three of the postings list pay of $35 or $37 an hour. All four ask for a bachelor’s student due to graduate in 2028, and the three with a GPA requirement set the minimum at 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.

The postings were reviewed on Invesco’s Workday careers site at about 13:40 UTC on Wednesday, Nov. 4. They describe internship programs, not hires, and none says how many interns Invesco plans to take in each area.

The program

According to the postings, the internships are part of a nine-week Summer Internship Program that starts in June 2027. Each intern joins a summer cohort with orientation, networking events, development workshops and volunteer activities, and is paired with a mentor. Invesco says interns who perform well “could be eligible for a full-time offer” to join its Early Career Program after graduation.

The internships are not remote. Every posting cites Invesco’s workplace policy, which since Oct. 1, 2025, has required employees to spend at least four full days a week in an Invesco office.

The postings also limit who can apply. Invesco says it does not offer employment-based immigration sponsorship for the program, and it will not sign paperwork for optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT), the work authorizations many international students rely on. Relocation and housing are not included in any offer.

The four internships

Communications (R-15968), posted Nov. 3, $35 an hour. The posting is open to students in any major and emphasizes communications, public relations, marketing, journalism and English. It asks for an interest in employee engagement and storytelling and lists Canva or Adobe Creative Suite skills as a plus. Its benefits list includes intern networking events, a peer sponsor program, a leadership speaker series and 401(k) matching of 100% on the first 6% of pay.

Global Product Innovation & Enablement (R-15939), posted Nov. 3, $37 an hour. The highest-paid of the four gives broad exposure to how a global product organization uses AI, automation, data, digital tools and process improvement. Applicants must be rising juniors graduating by summer 2028. Preferred majors include finance, accounting, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science and engineering. Invesco prefers intermediate skill with Python, SQL, Power BI, a Bloomberg Terminal, R Studio or Excel, along with an understanding of AI applications and experience with generative AI tools.

Institutional Sales, Retirement & Insurance (R-15908), posted Nov. 1. This intern supports reporting for internal partners and, when appropriate, external clients. The work includes analyzing clients and prospects with tools such as Fi360, BrightScope, Zephyr and Morningstar, keeping Salesforce CRM records up to date, and helping produce materials for clients, advisors and consultants. Candidates should be bachelor’s students graduating in spring or summer 2028 with an interest in finance, economics, business, marketing or data analytics. They also need Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint. This posting did not show a pay rate when it was reviewed, and its text did not state a GPA minimum.

Marketing, Email Team (R-15875), posted Nov. 1, $35 an hour. This intern helps run campaigns for an email marketing team. The work covers email testing and quality-assurance reviews, campaign performance reports and dashboards, and project tracking. Applicants should graduate in spring or summer 2028. All majors are welcome, with an emphasis on marketing, communications, finance, economics and business.

What applicants should know

The jobs are listed as full time for the summer. The communications and marketing roles are classified as fixed-term student or intern positions. Because the schedule calls for at least four office days a week and Invesco does not pay for housing, the roles suit students who already live in metro Atlanta or can arrange their own summer housing. Applications go through each posting on Invesco’s Workday site. None of the four postings showed an application deadline when reviewed.
